Mining   A very rewarding business is mining. You can mine, smelt, and then hammer metals to make armor and weapons. This is the most profitable business but is sometimes 'boring'. You will require a pick and hammer to get started. Almost all Runescape players prefer this as their primary business. There are several mines around Runescape.

One example of this Trading

Trading is the biggest money-maker if you play your cards right. There are hundreds of things you can buy or just pick off the ground and then sell in stores or to other players. This business can be combined with Mining to earn extra profits.

One example of this would be to buy silk from the silk trader in Al Kharid and sell it at a general store if you are a beginner.

One a higher level, you can monitor the Runescape economy, and sell items that are in huge demand and are selling for a lot more than they are worth. You can make potentially millions of gp doing this. Sometimes you can get items smithed or crafted before you resell them. This way you will not have to pay the high prices at stores.

 Guard

Be a body-guard. Some people that want to go mining, don't want to hold armor or weapons. This way, they can get the maximum amount of ore out of the mine. They will pay people who are willing to protect them from monsters and player killers. The best place will be at the the Wilderness.

 Cooking

Cooking! You can cook pies, cakes, seafood, and pizzas. The best place to sell them is in the dungeons and Wilderness where people are hurt and desperately need to replenish their health.

 Kill Stealing

Dragon's Kill Stealer! One very rewarding but dangerous business is taking the items left over by dead players who attempted to slay the dragon! You cannot do this after you have completed the dragon quest successfully.

 If you like huge rewards and are okay with the risks that come with it, then this is your business!

One of the top business is PKing (Player Killing). This is more entertaining and exciting than other businesses. You mainly earn money from selling what was left by your kills.
